Access the Webex API in 2 minutes 💨

🚀 Quickstart

1. Create an integration

   In Nango (free signup), go to Integrations -> Configure New Integration -> Webex. Nango doesn’t provide a test OAuth app for Webex yet. You’ll need to set up your own by following these instructions. After that, make sure to add the OAuth client ID, secret, and scopes in the integration settings in Nango.

2. Authorize Webex

   Go to Connections -> Add Test Connection -> Authorize, then log in to Webex. Later, you’ll let your users do the same directly from your app.

3. Call the Webex API

   Let’s make your first request to the Webex API (fetch a list of people). Replace the placeholders below with your secret key, integration ID, and connection ID:

   Install Nango’s backend SDK with npm i @nangohq/node. Then run:

   Or fetch credentials dynamically via the Node SDK or API.

✅ You’re connected! Check the Logs tab in Nango to inspect requests.

🧑‍💻 OAuth app setup

1. Create a developer account

   Go to Webex’s developer signup page and create an account.

2. Create & configure a Webex app

   Start creating a Webex app by clicking on the Create a New App button.

   Select Create an Integration.

   Fill in your integration name, select an icon, and add a description for the App Hub.

   In Redirect URI(s), configure the following Redirect URL: https://api.nango.dev/oauth/callback.

   In Scopes, select the scopes relevant for your integration.

   Create the Webex app. Copy/paste the Client ID and Client secret, you will need to specify it in Nango later on.

3. Create a Webex test account

   If you don’t have a Webex account already, create one to test your integration.
